Anxiety-Aware Approach
Specializing in gentle, patient care for dogs with separation anxiety or fear triggers.
Speckled Snout Sitting was born from the bond between a dog mom (Brittany) and one very special pup (Zora). What started as a personal journey caring for a dog with unique needs slowly evolved into something more — a way to serve others navigating similar paths.
Today, Speckled Snout Sitting provides thoughtful, personalized care to dogs of all kinds, especially those who need a little extra TLC — like seniors, dogs in recovery or dealing with medical challenges, dogs with separation anxiety, or those with other special circumstances.
Backed by lived experience, fueled by wanting to help other pets and owners in similar circumstances, this isn’t just pet sitting — it’s heart-led care that meets dogs where they are.
Dogsitting Services
At Speckled Snout Sitting, I know that no two snouts are the same. Some pups need medication with breakfast. Others fancy a slow, steady walk. And some need some extra snuggle time. The good news — I'm here for all of it.
As a dog mom to a special needs pup of my own, I offer care that's calm, customized, and full of heart. Whether your pup is recovering from surgery, managing anxiety, or just prefers dinner at precisely 5:02 PM, I tailor each visit to fit their world — quirks, routines and all.

Your pup stays cozy in their own home while I handle meals, meds, snuggles and routines — just like you would. Perfect for senior dogs, anxious pups, or those with special needs who thrive in familiar settings. I stay overnight in your home to ensure your dog gets comfort, companionship, and the calm presence they're used to. Staying in their environment helps keep their routine the same while you’re away, making them less anxious and more likely to acclimate to a sitter.
Whether you're out for the day or away on a quick trip, I'll swing by for a quick potty break, a meal, and some quality snuggle/playtime. Each visit is tailored to your dog's needs — from providing medication to simply being a familiar face while you're gone.
If you need to keep your sweet pup active while you're at work during the week or away on a well-deserved vacation, I can accommodate their circumstances and get them up and active. Whether the goal is to simply get them out for some general enrichment or achieve a certain distance or remain active for a certain period of time, walks can be adapted to meet your dogs where they are and get them exactly what they need.
